Mobile TV Set Design
The way that broadcast is changing so quickly. There has been an upsurge in the need to have more flexible with studio sets. At Giordano Design, we have the ideal solution that works really well. Our recent success of the set design & build for GBC we installed for the Gibraltar Election 2023. Was a huge success. So much that the CEO sent us a testimonial, as follows.

These freestanding sets we design and manufacture. Are pre-finished in the workshop. Then shipped to the location. This makes for an easy installation onsite with less crew. Once we have installed the set. The production team can move the sets themselves without us there. Giving more flexibility in the studio. Means more variations in the way the set looks and feels for the viewers.
We have designed and built the set components in the following way. All the presenters desks are on wheels. As well as the TV units. The LED lightboxes are completely freestanding. None of the set pieces touch the studio walls. The LED within the set is configured with RGBW LED lighting, with drivers & decoders compatible with most TV studios integration systems.

LOGISTICS & STUDIO SPACE
When you are thinking about researching your news desk. Its a good idea to measure your studio space, and the area you want the desk to fit into. Check if the desk will fit through the studio doors. What floor is your studio space?. Will the desk fit into the lift if the studio is on a upper floor?. Delivery of the desk. Is there an area for easy delivery & access into the building for unloading.
PRESENTERS REQUIREMENTS
What sort of desk are you looking for?. One presenter?. Guests?. If so what would the total be at any given time. Lets talk about the height. A very important factor. Do you want the desk with chairs or stools. Always good to have adjustable heights on the seating.
Most of our news desks are built with wheels. We can also build more static desks if required.
BRANDING YOUR DESK
Do you require a monitor at the front of the desk. Or a lightbox for the logo?. Again a monitor offers more flexibility to change the brands that you are working with.

We get asked all the time whether we keep any desks in stock. The answer is no. All of our desks are bespoke manufactured in the workshop. And made to order. The time-line various. Depending on the final finishes. Its best to call us so we can help to accommodate your schedule.
