STUDIO CONSTRUCTION
We designed & built a Virgin Games Studio for an online live casino game. Working in an old disused basement car park with a space of over 1000sqm. We quickly visualized what the studio’s design would look like. With the location of the studio being near a busy road. We had to make sure the soundproofing would meet the high level of broadcasting.
Our structural engineers and skilled construction team found the perfect acoustic treatment for the studio. Using a floating ceiling with 85 tons. Sitting on neoprene pads within the ceilings to make sure the sound was well insulated under the compression.
A disused carpark – which we converted into a state of the art studio.
From the photos below, this is a 500sqm studio space, we designed and built. As we had to suspend heavy lighting. We calculated the weights of the roof prior to build. This helped us achieve a complete rigging installation. For the aircon & lighting lighting equipment.
