IGN London Studio Case Study – Production Set Design
When IGN Entertainment put out a project bid for a new broadcast set design at The Rowe in Whitechapel. Giordano Design won the contract as IGN’s official studio design and installation partner in London.
IGN production CONCEPT DESIGN
Our team at Giordano Design presented a range of creative mood board options aligned with the IGN brand identity. From these concepts, IGN selected our urban loft theme—a design balancing industrial architectural elements with continuous, camera-ready visual depth.
Testimonial From IGN Entertainment:
Giordano Design was selected as IGN’s official studio design and installation partner for our new studio location in London. They completely transformed the space with a stunning urban living room loft concept, with their attention to detail being exceptional across every phase, including custom workshop fabrication, furniture procurement, hand-painted industrial finishes, onsite installation, and studio lighting.
“We are thrilled with Giordano Design. They brought our vision to life by delivering a camera-ready, multi-format broadcast environment crafted specifically for our production needs.
We look forward to working with them again.”

From Design Concept to Workshop Build
We translated the urban loft production design into a physical set for workshop fabrication before our talented team arrived onsite.
- Bespoke Fabrication: Every key structural element—including custom shelving, timber headers, set flats, and TV surrounds—was built made to measure in our workshop.
- Industrial Architectural Accents: With the studio’s industrial aesthetic, our excellent team built custom girders with handmade rivets and cut industrial copper piping to precise specifications.
- Hand-Crafted Scenic Artistry: The girders, pipes, shelving and borders received multi-layered, scenic hand-painted effects to deliver an authentic, distressed finish that holds up under high-definition cameras.
Onsite Installation & Studio Integration
With dynamic lighting and creative spatial design, the space was transformed into an atmospheric, multi-format studio engineered for high-impact content.
